Sometimes I long for the simple days of old large desk calendars where each month was on its own sheet and took up 90% of the desk space. With multiple computers, phones, people, clients, etc it seems like just setting a simple lunch meeting is a pretty complicated thing.
This is my solution. The linchpin is the application BusyCal (on the mac). BusyCal syncs with both Apple services and Google calendar which allows all my computers & iPhone to stay up to date.
The other invaluable piece is the service TimeBridge.com. I can easily set a meeting with multiple people in about 5 minutes.
There are more moving parts than I’d like but so far I haven’t had any issues. I recently added Jott into the mix where I can speak an appointment into the iPhone app and it adds it to Google calendar (which then syncs with everything else).
