UPDATE: Since I posted this, the event has now raised over $300,000!
Ride 4 Yellow, a mtn biking fundraising event for local & global cancer services I helped create, just sold out at 200 riders. Each rider committed to raising $500 so that’s at least $100k for the cause. Things have really been on track & I predict we’ll go over $200k. Cool thing is, 1/2 the money stays in Steamboat Springs.
My dad died of lung cancer & this is a small way to help out (although it’s a full-time non-paying job at the moment).
